Bobby E. Wright CMHC and Habilitative Systems, Inc. were pleased to participate June 11th in a visit by an international delegation of law enforcement officials from Tobago, Trinidad., Jamaica, Guyana, and Barbados who are interested in efforts to divert and deflect appropriate persons from incarceration into Behavioral Health treatment. The group was hosted by TASC (Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities) in partnership with the U.S. State Department.

Special thanks to the Chicago Police Department’s Robin Robinson for organizing this effort with CPD’s CIT and Diversion initiatives and promoting essential community-based partnerships! Also in attendance and thanks go to Congressman Danny K Davis, State Representative Camille Lilly and Cook County Commissioner Dennis Deer.

The group visited the proposed site for the Westside Community Triage and Wellness Center and the Enola A. Dew Senior Apartments for a reception afterwards.
