As we enter the holiday season, please plan to join us for our virtual fundraiser, "Jazz with Pizzazz: Battling the Holiday Blues," to benefit our mental health services.

This has been a most challenging year for us all, but we must persevere.  This event promises to be an uplifting, entertaining and motivational evening for us all.  Please help us spread the word!

A PART OF THE HISTORIC HSI JAZZ WITH PIZZAZZ SERIES

Jazz with Pizzazz is a celebration of HSI’s rich legacy of service and leadership in the community. This highly-anticipated annual event has featured notable jazz artists such as Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Roy Ayers and more.

HSI’s 25th Anniversary honored nationally acclaimed radio personality Tom Joyner, and then-State Senator Barack Obama attended the sold-out event which featured performances by smooth jazz artist KEM and R&B singer Seleena Johnson.

HSI’s 40th anniversary Gala honored our legacy, saluted our remarkable honorees, and enjoyed a stellar performance by Chanté Moore during the celebration at the Hyatt Regency Chicago on October 13, 2018.
