JOB SUMMARY
The LPHA Supervisor; will provide direct day-to-day supervision including coordination and delegation of work/assignments, QMHP, QMHP/CADC ,and Peer Specialist. The clinical supervisor will train new staff, evaluate and have regular structured meetings to discuss treatment and professional issues related to client services. The expectations outlined are representative of those that must be done by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. In doing so, the employee must be on call and perform other duties as assigned.
JOB DESCRIPTION ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the collabortive Bridges Program.
- Confer with staff regularly regarding techniques used, case progress, and related matters for the purpose of promoting and evaluating professional development while assuring quality of care as well as reviewing documentation.
- Conduct regular case conferences, review documentation, and supervise staff in assessing social/behavioral/emotional and crisis need of client caseload.
Conduct staff/team meetings and presentations as needed. - Assist with the assignment of cases to appropriate staff, scheduling to assure staff coverage, and evaluation of work performance/ disciplinary proceedings
- Maintain a caseload and manages some of the more complex cases; performs a variety of direct clinical, diagnostic, treatment, and outreach services.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Screening and assessment tools utilized by supervised staff working with clients.
- A minimum of two-three years of supervisory experience with the ability to plan, supervise, and evaluate staff work.
- LCSW, LCPC: or LMFT
- Clinical standards of practice and licensure requirements.
- Current theories, principles, and practices for services to clients in crisis or with mental health symptoms and diagnosis.
- Principles and practices of direct client service delivery
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and best practices, with an emphasis on trauma-informed care.
- Screening and assessment tools utilized by supervised staff working with clients
- Principles and practices of effective supervision, work planning, evaluation, training, and community behavioral/mental health and crisis care consultation.
- Master's degree required in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field;
- Must be licensed LCPC, LCSW, or PsyD • Excellent time management skills;
- Experience in working with trauma in children, adolescents and adults;
- Experience and competence in trauma-informed models and treatment modalities;
- Proficiency using Electronic Health Records system (EHR); • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Service oriented, empathetic and able to interact and develop rapport with a diversified population
- Must pass mandatory background checks and pre-employment drug screen.
