Driver
Full-Time Position
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Under direct supervision, provides daily transportation of work materials, transport consumers in Residential services to the program, medical appointments, transport consumers in program to special activities as needed.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, lift and or move up to 35 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
Must have three (3) years of transportation experience including one (1) – two (2) years working with disabled for applicants with high school or GED qualification. Applicants without high school or GED qualification must have five (5) years transportation experience including one (1) – two (2) years experience working with disabled in addition to ability to read and write as well as the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Must possess a valid driver’s license "C" category, and auto insurance. Must submit to drug/alcohol testing as requested. Must demonstrate the ability to operate a fifteen-passenger vehicle. Must possess certification of safe driving from State of Illinois. Must possess no record of driving related convictions. Must possess no record of license suspension or of being revoked. Must demonstrate sensitivity to working with disabled.
